In 2020 we started a full-time vocational level three BTEC programme with Kent College Dubai. For the next 2 years we used our staff on the ground in Dubai to train and nurture the talent on the course with a 100% pass rate, every student on our course gained a place at one of London's top conservatories including, The Urdang Academy, Laine Theatre Arts, Performers College and Mountview.

We have found that Dubai has incredible energy and the opportunity to nurture talent for higher education training in the UK and the US. In 2022 our business model changed and we partnered with the Gems Wellington Cluster providing them with on-the-ground training for their staff and students. Our goal was to look at each school's performing arts department and enhance them with our expertise. This has included choreographing school musicals, directing and musically directing productions, and providing 1-1 lessons for high-achieving students. Teaching GCSE/A-level Drama and Dance, LAMDA and training school staff on our syllabus.

All of our staff are London-trained professionals with industry experience. We pride ourselves on being the only London-based conservatoire on the ground in Dubai providing this service. Not only do we teach day-to-day in these schools but over the past three years, we have implemented over 30 West End and national touring practitioners into these schools to provide masterclasses for their students. Some of the masterclasses include Cats, Chicago, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, 42nd Street, Starlight Express, Dirty Dancing, Mama Mia, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat to name a few. We have provided scholarships to London for students to train with our team and secondly hosted PA staff from Dubai schools in London to have training with our staff.

Urdang International Dubai along with the GPA now hosts the biggest Musical Theatre and Dance competition in the UAE bringing together talent from all over the region. All of our judges are world renowned figures and last year we hosted 600 competitors over 2 days in what was an incredible celebration of talent. Our goal is to continue growing talent in the region alongside the schools we partner with, hopefully in the future implementing a full time foundation course and vocational BTEC course for exceptional students who want a career in the arts.
