The theatre has always been home for Alana, she has been acting for stage, TV work, directing plays, musicals, cast in improvisation shows and Theatresports tournament's ever since she can remember.
Hicks is a qualified teacher and works in theatre for education with the Australian NSW performing arts unit. This led her to teach adult workshops in improvisation, character and devising theatre at the Sydney Theatre Company and other theatre’s across Australia and the United Kingdom.
